- Formal schooling begins at the preschool level at the age of five years.
- From the age of six years onwards, students follow six years of primary education, after which they proceed to secondary level.
- All students will have a common curriculum, and at the end of Year 6, they will sit for the Primary School Assessment (PSR).
- Students who obtained five A’s in their PSR will be channelled to the science schools.
As citizens, we must be grateful to the Government of Brunei since it concerns about education.
As parents, we should be proud to live in a country where many schools are close to the homes.
In the old history of education around 1940-70an,
as told by the elders, the school is very rarely seen, many were not able to go to school and some did not want to go to school because the schools are very far, as far as 4-5 miles from home.
The bus service was seldom seen or hardly exist mainly in rural areas ..so we don't blame these people form the old days for not being educated.
So enjoy the facilities today as well as possible.
